The Joslyn Lofts was originally designed in 1915 by John and Alan McDonald
for George and Sarah Joslyn. The building housed the Western Newspapers Union
Warehouse. Sarah later commissioned the two to design a memorial to her husband,
the Joslyn Memorial Art Museum. We, at Bluestone Development, believed in restoring
this historical landmark, capitalizing on the vintage architectural details
and creating the ultimate loft environment for urban living.
The warehouse, now a rejuvenated historical landmark, has been transformed
into stylish living spaces worthy of housing works of art of their own. Cherry
wood floors span the living space and private balconies overlook Omaha's Historic
Old Market District.
This environment includes 29 urban loft apartments, ranging from an artist
studio apartment to two bedroom loft apartments. Joslyn Lofts
features many amenities including:
-Cherry wood floors
-Floor-to-Ceiling Glass
-Private Balconies sized for Al Fresco Dining
-Access Controlled Entry
-Exposed-brick interior walls
-Unique Gourmet Kitchens with European-style kitchen island
-Maple Cabinetry
-General Electric Washer, Dryer, Microwave and Dishwasher
-Recessed Lighting and Track Lighting
-Additional Storage Space Option
-High Speed Internet Access
-Common Area Gas Grill
-Underground, Heated Parking and Exterior Gated Parking
As one of the first loft apartment living environments, our trend-setting
property has become a defining force in the revitalization of downtown
Omaha. We are proud to be a catalyst for this and look forward to hearing from
you.
